Renewable energy prospects are continuously growing in the sustainable energy sector. The industry is on a roll to experience a general outgrowth towards integrating more sustainable energy prospects while advocating increased efficient production. These changes include Vesta’s plans to expand its acquisition of the Brazilian megastructure, a two-part series of 95MW power generating capacities while partnering with Eolic Tecnologia; the proposed projects are the Ouro Branco and the Quatro Ventos wind generation projects situated in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco.
These additional projects consist of 21 V150-4.2 MW turbines coupled with a 4.5MW Power Optimized Mode. There are also plans to include an order for a 120m tower together that will be included in the state’s ten-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service contract.
The plan, however, transcends the Brazilian region with possible customers across the world. According to the Vesta chief sales director, European Energy forms a significant Vesta supply structure member. Eric Gomes states that both projects will take advantage of the latest achievements, the 4MW technology built to ensure the most efficient production. According to the Vice President of European Energy Jens-Peter Zink, the ordinance reaffirms the pledge of European Energy for the extension of the Brazilian market for renewable energy and the growth of Poçao and Macaparana economically.
This will offer Brazil the opportunity to champion the project using the vast experience from European energy in wind energy systems as well as help expand the company’s current operations in the region. According to company officials, the venture allows concerned individuals to look forward to the upcoming opportunities in the segment in 2021 and establish collaborations in that area.
The communication comes from the recently announced A-6 new energy auction in 2017 that stated the projects’ output would be used across both projects. This would result in a more affordable and accessible clean energy supply regiment for the public. The plan has a scheduled launch of wind energy production by 2022, with planned commissioning to be done the same year. The high capacity wind generators are facing increased demand, with more orders being placed for the V150-4.2 MW type of generators capable of generating close to 4.4GW of energy.
